Week 7- We have a little shopper on our hands…

Week 7 didn’t start off so good for our little Jones’ family. The doctor cleared me to work out again, so I took Zoë and Cady to the park for our first run together. We got this awesome jogging stroller that rides so smooth, and we were having a nice little run until Cady decided to jump out of the bottom basket just after a mile. Sadly, the back tire hit her and she walked away with a little road rash. We took her to the vet to get things checked out and the doctor said that she has no broken bones, but she just needs to rest and take it easy for a bit. You can see below that she is enjoying her sleep (and all of the extra attention) this week.

On a brighter note, we had a fun visit from Aunt Abby and Uncle Chris and their labradoodle, Sissy. While Abby was here, we took a trip to find some new clothes for Zoë since she seems to be in between the newborn size and the 3 month size. When we got home, we put the clothes up next to Zoë, and let me just say that her dad is in trouble because she seemed quite excited about her new purchases! Zoë also joined us at a couple of cookouts over the beautiful weekend- one at Nicole’s and one at Travis and Mike’s home. We brought out the Baby Bjorn for the first time…or as some of our friends like to poke fun, “Are you into wearing your baby”? Zoë also joined me for an end of year lunch with some of my friends at school. It was so nice to see everyone again and share all of my Zoë stories.
