Our little Zoë is growing up! New this month, Zoë is…

- perfecting her wave, and in some cases, can wave on command. At other times when we are all excited to share her newest trick with friends and family, she just looks at us like we are crazy.

- pointing at lots of things now. That one little finger points out everything- from the trees out the window, to words in a book, to Cady running in her room….she’s taking note of everything in sight.

- saying mamma and dadda, but still has no clue what either of those words mean. (At least it’s a step in the right direction now that she can say my name:)

- loves to turn the pages of her books. We read to her every morning and every night, and I think her grip on the bottom corner of each page is her favorite part of the activity. (I use the term read loosely because I never realized how fast a parent can memorize the words of a children’s book. I can say the same for all of her musical toys too!)

- pulling up on everything and trying to take steps. She can lap around the coffee table by holding on, and every once in a while, feels daring enough to take a step towards us…aka fall in our direction without holding onto anything. At this rate, she’ll be walking soon!

- weighs 18 lbs and 10 oz, and is 28.25 inches. She’s still wearing 12 month clothing; although, I can’t say that will last a long time. Her jeggings are already getting a little short on her.

- the boss when it comes to eating blueberries. If we would let her, I’m sure she could polish off a whole pint in one sitting.

- And as always, Zoë is making every day of our little family, super happy! Her big smile and squeals, coupled with her bouncy little dance, just makes us happy that she is around!

happy ten months little Zo! We love ya!
