I know that I said in a previous post that Zoë and Cady were the best of buds. Well, let’s just say that Cady has some competition. Zoë and her dad are probably even better best of buds! Zoë and Marshall are quite the little team, and to honor her teammate, Zoë hasn’t stopped saying dadda dadda dadda all week long. When I’m driving her to school in the morning, she’s in the backseat looking out the window and softly saying dadda dadda dadda. I texted Marshall this morning and asked if he was secretly sneaking in her nursery at night and helping her learn the word.

Although she hasn’t said mamma just yet, I couldn’t be more thrilled that she is sharing my love for Marshall. He truly is an awesome dad! So here’s to you, Marshall…even though you didn’t carry her for 9 months and go through labor….I’m not bitter, really. Just kidding! I’m sure putting up with me in my pregnancy is reason enough for the “first word” award!
