Christmas part 3…Savannah

Zoë and I had a great time visiting with my family in Savannah- Meme, Grandpa Jordan, her great-grandmother, Auntie Kim and Uncle Richard, her great-aunt Jerrie, and her cousins Lisa, Nan and Katie. Zoë was definitely spoiled, but I think the people who were spoiling her had just as much fun as she did. My mom lived up every moment with Zoë, and enjoyed everything from bath time, to helping her explore her new Christmas toys, to swinging at the park. My dad was busy trying to catch it all on his camera. I also spent time with my older sister who I don’t get to see as much when we make quick trips on the weekends. We got to hang out during the days and nights and I loved it!

Other highlights from our trip include visiting with Mema (Zoë’s great grandmother). Mema just doted on Zoë and talks so fondly of  the joy that little ones can bring to the holidays. She helped Zoë take care of her first baby doll, and also kept Zoë entertained with a jungle gym, aka her walker. Zoë was addicted to that thing! She was climbing on the bars like she was a little gymnast and all Mema could say was that we have such an active little girl on our hands. Mema joked that she wanted to try the vitamins that Zoë was on.

Our road trip back to Atlanta, was a bit like the trip down- lots of Coldplay lullabies, lots of mum mums, and a sweet baby that was happy that she got to hang out with her grands!
