There’s something about Sundays that just say, relax. When it’s a beautiful, sunny Sunday, it makes it even better. No work, no commitments, just wherever the day takes you. This past weekend, we had Noni staying with us. We had a fun morning in the nursery, followed by brunch at a new Westside restaurant, West & Mill. For Zoë, she enjoyed being the cutest baby in the restaurant- complete with her two vampire teeth coming in on the top row! And then, what Sunday isn’t complete without some sunset swinging and a family dinner!

Perhaps, probably my favorite part of a weekend is when Zoë has just woken up and is playing on her own in her crib. She usually is rotating her three wubbanubs from her left hand to her right hand to her mouth. And around again. Once she sees me or Marshall, she’ll flip over and pretend like she’s hiding from us. She giggles continuously as she boroughs her face into the corner of her crib. What she doesn’t realize is that even though we can’t see her face, we can see her still her.
