stairs…

Zoë is completely in love with the light fixture in our stairwell. The bright colors that stream from the stained glass, way up high in the elevated ceiling of our stairwell- Zoë is taken by everything about it. Combine the fun light with Zoë’s love of climbing, and you get our stairs- the new point of danger in our home. She likes to stand by the first step and beat her hands on it like a drum. She has already accomplished climbing to the second stair on her own, so we know that baby gates need to be installed soon. What’s funny is that Cady has always been a bit scared about going up our stairs. Now that she knows Zoë likes them, Cady will run right past her. I guess a little competition is healthy:)
