First off, my apologies for the enormous amount of pictures in this post. I have a hard time taking just a couple of pictures, and I have an even harder time deciding which ones to post.

So, here we are….nine months. Unbelievable! Those 9 months clothes seemed so big and that title of 9 months seemed so old just a few short months ago. Now, our little Zoë isn’t so little anymore…

…She is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything- from her activity table to our legs to the shutters on the windows.
…Zoë is so proud of her two bottom teeth, and we have marks all along the crib railing to prove it. She uses the side of her crib as a chew toy sometimes. I guess those scratches will be something we look back on one day and laugh.
…She loves the dream ring mobiles over her crib and just looks at them in awe and laughs when we spin them. Her eyes are so locked on them, that she’ll continue to look back as she leaves the room.
…Zoë is all about some Cady and gets excited to see her when she wakes up and when she comes home every day.
…She also is very happy to go to school each day. Once I step inside the doors, she starts waving her hands, eager to get in the arms of her favorite teacher, Miss Valerie.
…When Zoë is excited, she loudly shares her fake cough/cackle that is hilarious. She also waves her arms up and down.
…She makes friends with strangers. One example was when I was in the Starbuck’s line the other day and this lady was making her laugh and giggle. Zoë’s dimple was making a huge showing! Within 10 minutes, she had the whole line of people watching and commenting about what a happy baby she is.
…Her new tricks include waving and clapping. She also said “dadda” last week, although Marshall tells me that she hasn’t said it again and she didn’t really know what she was saying. (I think he’s trying to make me feel better that she said his name first:)
…Zoë has begun to dance, although it really is just a head bob right now. Her rhythm is a little off, but I’m sure it will come with time.
…She’s no longer nursing, and is on bottles throughout the day, as well as real food at daycare. With that, she comes home a lot messier these days!
…Her favorite books are Llama Llama Nighty Night and Llama Llama Wakey Wake, as well as an animal book that is touch and feel.
…She loves to swing and be outside, and even more than that, just loves to be in our arms. She’s going through a stage right now where she likes to be held. She’ll crawl over to our feet and look up at us and start crying. I was nervous that we were spoiling her, but we read that this is a little phase that she is going through. I can’t say I mind the extra cuddles.

…Overall, Zoë continues to make us smile and makes every single day fun.

Happy 9 months little Z!
