Week 25…continued

Our weekend was pretty awesome- sweet day at the park on Saturday with friends, followed by Sunday walking around Decatur. Decatur is a funky little town east of the city, and it has tons of cute shops and restaurants. I’m sure we would go more if it wasn’t so much of a hike to get there. Although traffic getting there this weekend was horrendous (Falcons game downtown and Pride festival in midtown), we finally made it for some unique shopping and a relaxing lunch.

As many of you know, my sister, Cindy, and her husband, Davis, were traveling Europe and Asia for the past couple of months. They made it back to the states this past week. We’re so happy to have them back home, and I know they are happy to be home too- the land of Chick-fil-A, Publix subs, and long showers:) They stayed with us for a couple of days before heading to Savannah to surprise my family. I heard my mom squealed for an entire minute when they walked into her store! They’re back in Atlanta, have bought a new house and a new husky named Nala, and are getting settled to life back in the south- no Chicago snow for them this year! Welcome home, Cindy and Davis!
