Hi, Zoë. Are you ready to go to school? What do you think you’ll do today? I’m glad we dressed you in long sleeves. It’s a bit chilly outside this morning. I hope they bundle you up in your blanket when your socks fall off your feet at school. Let’s see what I have today. I have some college meetings planned with some students this morning. Applying to college- it’s a big process. And let me just tell you, it’s expensive too. No telling how much college will cost by the time you graduate from high school and are ready to go. Speaking of school, I wonder how many SUV’s are on this campus at any given time. Look at that, Zoë! I just counted 10 in the carpool line.

In case you’re wondering, this is a sample of what my car conversation with a 4-month old sounds like each morning. Poor Zoë just seems to listen to me as I babble on. Sometimes she pipes in too with her cute little noises. She’s probably just trying to tell me that she’s happy that I’m not singing “You Are My Sunshine” to her again. I know she’s ready for me to get hooked on a new children’s song.

Anyways, it’s not that the words I’m sharing are really that important, but it’s our time together that I truly love.

Here are some photos of week 20….
