I have to admit Marshall was RIGHT!

I had a bet with Marshall that we were going to have a little boy, and I was so wrong! Although we had previously completed all of the fun, at-home gender tests and quizzes that all predicted us having a girl- the wedding band spinning above my belly and the ancient Chinese calendar predictor- I was certain that we would have a boy. For those of you who don’t know, Marshall has five brothers and I just assumed another Jones boy was on the way.

We went to our 17-week gender ultrasound on Friday and were so excited to hear that we are going to have a little girl! Marshall is now surrounded by girls, including sweet Cady, picture above with me in the newly painted nursery. Marshall finished up the painting this weekend, and I love the color- a dark, neutral gray. He worked so hard these past several weekends, and it looks awesome- the closet, the trim work, the paint, and even the cool light blue accent color on the ceiling in the closet! Now for all of the fun stuff- decorating it:)
