Last day of summer
Well, the time finally came, and I had to go back to school. I knew I wanted to fill my day with all things Zoë before I returned. Along with lunch with Marshall, Zoë and I spent the morning at the Chattahoochee River Park. It’s unbelievable how much this little girl loves being outside. If we had set up her crib outside when she was 2 weeks old, I guarantee she would have slept through the night! Too bad mosquitos are so bad this time of year! At the Chattahoochee, we got to see everything from dogs playing in the river, to walkers and runners, to the peaceful water, to the coolest spider web. Even more, Zoë got to see me pant through one of the hilliest runs I have had in a long time. Back at home, we spent the afternoon rocking in the rocking chair on the front porch. No worries of work, daycare, or responsibilities- just me, our baby and complete bliss!
